Route 45

Route 45 is a modern take on the American roadhouse diner set in Forest Hill Chase’s new dining and entertainment precinct, The Loft.

References to the American roadhouse diners of old are included throughout the design. Some obvious, like the retro bar stools and booth seating. Others subtle, such as the wall treatment which hints at the old diner’s checkerboard flooring. The double line motif alludes to the highways along which these diners sat and is used to connect points of interest in the design.

A modern feel is achieved through clean lines and contemporary materials. Interest and brand recognition are created through pops of intense yellow colour and lighting.
